① 北見駅

オホーツク管内唯一「キヨスク」がある北見駅。
北見の銘菓「赤いサイロ」など人気のお土産品や鉄道グッズも購入できます。また、駅周辺には宿泊施設や飲食店が多く、2018年に移転オープンした北見バスターミナルが隣接しているなど、利便性の高い駅です。

かつて世界ハッカ市場の７割を占め、この地方の発展に大きな役割を果たした「北見ハッカ」の歴史を多くの展示物と共にご覧頂けます。

You can see a lot of exhibits and
learn the history of KITAMI HAKKA(mint)
that once accounted for 70% of the world’s mint market and contributed to regional economic development.

山の水族館

日本有数の寒さを利用して、誰も見たことのない凍った川の下を泳ぐ魚たちや滝つぼの中で泳ぐ魚がみられる『 滝つぼ水槽 』があります 。
There are some special aquariums by the environments of Okhotsk. You can see the waterfall basin that fish swim under the frozen river in the winter.

This hot spring facility was built in 1998 to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of town.

ピアソン記念館

Pierson’s House

北見駅から徒歩15分

15 minutes on foot from JR Kitami station.

北見地方でキリスト教伝道に尽くしたピアソン夫妻の住宅で、北海道遺産に指定されています。

This historical building is registered in Hokkaido heritage.
Mr. and Mrs. Pierson who spread the Christianity lived in the house.

② 網走駅

石北本線と釧網本線の発着駅となる網走駅。
周辺には「博物館網走監獄」「オホーツク流氷館」など見どころが多く、観光客でにぎわう観光駅でもあります。毎年2月には釧網本線の斜里駅までの間を結ぶ「流氷物語号」が運行され、国内外から多くの観光客が集まります。

Abashiri Prison

網走駅からバスで 10 分

10 minutes by bus from JR Abashiri station.

明治時代から実際に網走刑務所で使用されてきた建物を保存公開している野外歴史博物館です。太い梁や柱には、囚人達が削ったあとが荒く残っています。漫画の題材にもなっています 。
This is a historical field museum which was actually used as a prison since Meiji period. Scars that prisoners sharpening are remain on pillars.

呼人探鳥遊歩道

Yobito Natural trail

呼人駅から徒歩 15 分

15 minutes on foot from JR Yobito station.

網走湖に突き出している呼人半島にある遊歩道。大自然の中を散策し、バードウォッチングを楽しむことができます。4 月中旬頃にはミズバショウの群落を見ることができます 。
The trail is in YOBITO peninsula. When you stroll the trail, you can see the white arum in April and enjoy a birdwatching.

モヨロ貝塚

「オホーツク文化」とよばれる独自の文化を発展させたモヨロ人についての郷土博物館です 。

This is a local museum about people who were called MOYORO developed original culture. They had special culture named “Okhotsk cukture.”

流氷観光

Drift Ice Tourism

網走駅からバスで 10 分

10 minutes by bus from JR Abashiri station.

オホーツク沿岸は海が凍る南限です。白い大地となって南下する流氷の衝撃的なまでの眩しさを流氷観光砕氷船にのって堪能できます。
Okhotsk coast is the southern limit of the sea freezes over. In the winter, you can get ride on the cruse which crush the ice.

⑤ 遠軽駅

平成27年に開業100周年を迎えた遠軽駅。
道内で唯一線路がスイッチバック（折り返し）式となっており、停車後は進行方向が前後入れ替わるため、乗客が180度回転させる珍しい光景が特徴的です。その姿をカメラに収めようと鉄道ファンも多く訪れます。

遠軽駅からバスで 16 分

16 minutes by bus from JR Engaru station.

夏はアクティビティ、冬はスキー場と１年を通して遊べる新しい道の駅です。

カフェ、フードコート、ショップ、観光情報発信コーナーを備えています。

This is a new roadside station where you can enjoy activities all year round, with activities in the summer and ski resorts in the winter.

It has a cafe, food court, shops, and tourist information corner.

生田原温泉ノースキング

Hot spring Ikutahara

生田原駅から徒歩 1 分

1 minutes on foot from JR Ikutahara station.

駅からすぐの場所にある温泉ホテル。日帰り入浴、レストランも人気です。鉄道旅の宿やちょっと立ち寄って温泉やお食 事をお楽しみいただけます。

It locates by the Ikutahara station. There are hot spring and restaurant, so that it is a good place for traveler by train.

丸瀬布森林公園いこいの森

Forest park in Maruseppu

丸瀬布駅からバスで15 分

15 minutes by bus from JR Maruseppu station.

かつて山奥から木材を運ぶために活躍していた森林鉄道ＳＬ「雨宮２１号」が今も現役で走っています。園内はゴーカートなどの遊具も充実。生きた昆虫とふれあえる昆虫生態館、日帰り温泉やまびこも隣接しています。

This steam locomotive used to be transport timber. And now, running as a park train. There are also some attractions, athletic and playground.

遠軽町埋蔵文化財センター

Shirataki Geo Park Center

白滝駅から徒歩 10 分

10 minutes on foot from JR Shirataki station.

国宝に指定された「白滝遺跡群出土品」が展示されています。白滝黒曜石で作られた石器を通じて、旧石器時代の暮らしを知ることができ、石器づくり体験ができます。併設する白滝ジオパーク交流センターでは大地のなりたちと、自然と人の関係性が学べる白滝ジオパークの交流拠点施設です。

“Artifacts excavated from the Shirataki ruins,” which have been designated as national treasures, are on display. Through stone tools made from Shirataki obsidian, you can learn about life in the Paleolithic era and experience making stone tools. The attached Shirataki Geopark Exchange Center is an exchange base facility for Shirataki Geopark where you can learn about the nature of the earth and the relationship between nature and people.

③ 女満別駅

網走国定公園に隣接し、網走湖女満別湖畔を臨む女満別駅。
駅舎は湖のほとりに立つ北欧風のメルヘンチックなデザインが特徴的です。図書館が併設されているほか、駅構内にはカフェもあり、様々な機能をもつ施設として地域住民や観光客に親しまれています。

「北海道景観百選」に選ばれたほど美しく自然豊かな湖。

夏は観光夏まつり、花火大会、冬は氷上ワカサギ釣りで賑わうレジャースポット。

Lake Abashiri was nominated as one of “The 100 best scenery in Hokkaido”.
The Abashiri lake is surrounded by beautiful and lush nature.
Lakeside of Memanbetsu is especially a popular place for people to have fun.
In summer, there are summer festivals and fireworks.
In winter, you can enjoy Japanese pond smelt ice fishing as well.

朝日ヶ丘公園

Asahigaoka park

女満別駅から車で10分

7 minutes by car from JR Memambetsu station.

網走湖から斜里岳や知床連山まで360度の大パノラマを眺望できる絶景スポット。
夏から秋にかけては一面のひまわりが咲き誇ります。

Asahigaoka park is a breathtaking scenery spot in Ozora town.
There is a superb view from Lake Abashiri to Mt. Sharidake and Shiretoko Mountain Range all around.
A lot of sunflowers bloom around the park throughout the summer and fall.

メルヘンの丘

Hill of Marchen

女満別駅から車で５分

15 minutes by bus from JR Memambetsu station.

四季折々の美しい景観に出会えるメルヘンの丘。
女満別市街から網走市の国道39号沿いにあり、小高い丘の上にたたずむ木が目印。

The Meruhen no oka (Hill of Meruhen)is a symbol of Ozora town.
The Meruhen no oka prime location makes it a great place to stop by at any time of year.
Located along National Route 39 from the Memanbetsu area to Abashiri City.
The landmark is seven larch trees on the hill.

④ 美幌駅

1953年公開の映画「君の名は」の舞台となった美幌駅。
駅舎には観光案内所のほか美幌町の特産品や工芸品を販売する物産館「ぽっぽ屋」、木育ひろば「美幌林業館 きてらす」が併設されており、駅としての役割にとどまらず、町の賑わい拠点として愛されています。

ロマンチック街道

Romantic Avenue

美幌駅から車で １０分

10 minutes by car from JR Bihoro station.

国道243号線を市街地から美幌峠に向かう約15キロは、通称「ロマンチック街道」と呼ばれ、立ち並ぶ白樺並木の緑の葉、青い空、白い幹のコントラストが人気 です。
A road between urban area to Bihoro toge Pass is called as a “Romantic Avenue.” White birch lines a street. The contrast color of trees and sky are popular to the tourist.

木育ひろば「きてらす」には、美幌の木をふんだんに使った大型遊具や木のおもちゃがいっぱいです。木とふれあい、学ぶことができます 。

Wooden park “KITERASU” is a place to children playing with and learning about wood of Bihoro .

美幌町の歴史、自然、芸術をテーマとした総合博物館です。体験学習や展示資料を見ることができます 。
This is a general museum to learn the history, nature and arts of Bihoro .

美幌峠

Bihoro toge Pass

美幌駅から車で40 分

40 minutes by car from JR Bihoro station.

標高５２５ｍの美幌峠展望台からは、眼 下に日本最大のカルデラ湖である「屈斜 路湖」、そして今なお噴煙を吐く「硫黄山」が広がります。その美しい景色から、「天下の絶景」と謳われています 。
It has an elevation of 525 maters. From viewing platform, the beautiful landscape that is Kussharo lake and Mt. Iouzan command under your eyes.
